Travel Alone Day 1

Surprise

I started my journey from Indore with a heavy bag on my back, hired a cab and reached Railway station. There was a long queue, I took ticket from there and went to train, next morning I reached Gwalior, took a ticket for Agra and went to platform. Two southern trains cam their but I was not able to get in them; such a heavy rush was there, so I took the third train and reached Agra. Agra’s atmosphere was like it is placed in a furnace, I went to waiting room there and took a bath, I had to put my bag in front of my eyes, near bathroom, so that no one stole it.

After all this I had a plan in my mind to go to one of my friend’s house and meet her thereby giving her a surprise, I had her address with me. Hired a cab and told him address, but no one in Agra was familiar with that particular area. So I asked a shopkeeper, he said me to give her a call, I explained him about surprise, so he took her no. from me, called her and said there’s a courier and understood the path, cab went in the way, I thought that ill first call her before directly going to her house, and in a tricky way took her consent that boys are allowed at her place, but my fool friend was not picking her cell phone at that time, she was out there looking for her courier. Eventually I was hiding at a safe place near her house, trying her no. after some time she came out of her street and saw me and I could just say surprise. I was now at her place with some hesitation, I greeted her mother and had lunch their and asked her permission to leave her place and took a hotel room. But she said no, her father will decide that, I took some rest their and her father came, he too resisted my idea and said that, rest here for night and he will escort me to railway station first thing in morning at 6 am.

One more thing/person to add here was one mutual friend was also there, but she said me goodbye at around 6pm in evening. I think people in Agra do not have that much Love, affection, attraction, feelings for their friends as in our city, that’s why she left us. I thought that will 3 should have dinner together but in the evening my friend had to go to a party, and the mutual friend was too busy.

So I said my friend ill go for some walk in her city, but I had bad timing, and she was at her place only… till I returned and as soon as came she went to party, after that she came and we all went to sleep at around 10 pm. I was thinking that when she will return, will have some talking, but it was not written in fortune.

So in this way first day was complete……soon 2^nd day will arrive
